Dragonfly Velum Card

There is something delicate and airy about velum...  Size-A2
Base is a white velum folded card - then a green velum (8.5 x 5.25 - qtr inch smaller than we usually use) was stamped in blue dye ink, the F111 & F140 (dragonfly and word 'dragonfly')  and again on the slate blue velum the same images were stamped in white dye ink - slightly heat set to help dry and prevent smudges.  The green & blue velum were then placed on top each other and folded in half (A2 size)... then both pieces were torn in half across the 4.5 inch side, at the same time.  This allows for two opposite cards to be made at same time.  Separate the velum, leaving a 1/4" space between them & use a teeny tiny glue dot to secure in place over the base card stock.  Another half sheet of white velum was folded over outside of colored velum sheets.  We tore the front portion of the white, exposing the full color of the images, and tore leaving at just over an inch.  Then punch two holes through the front portion of the card, and weave your ribbon thru.  It was fun to make and is prettier in person!
